We want you to be happy with our products and services. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how to cancel subscriptions, and how we handle disputes across all our offerings.
By making any purchase, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Note: RickyLaserArt sells digital products and online tools only. We do not sell physical items.

1. Independent Tools - Per-Tool Refunds
Each tool on the RickyLaserArt platform (Engraving Art Studio, DXF Converter, Auto Scale DXF, Single Line Converter, Box Generator, Telegram Bot, etc.) operates as an independent product with its own pricing.
A refund issued for one tool does not affect subscriptions or credits on any other tool You must request a refund separately for each tool The 7-day refund window is calculated per tool, per first purchase
2. Subscription Cancellation Policy
This applies to monthly or annual subscriptions on any of our paid tools.
2.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time via:
Account dashboard – most tools have a “Manage Subscription” or “Billing” section Payment provider portal – directly through PayPal or Razorpay (whichever processed your payment) Email – [email protected] from your registered email
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until then.
2.2 What Happens After Cancellation
- Your account reverts to the free tier (where available) Premium features and higher quotas become unavailable Download any files you need before your subscription ends – files may be auto-deleted per our Privacy Policy We do not auto-delete your account – you can resubscribe anytime Per our Terms of Service, commercial-use licenses for outputs generated while your subscription was active remain valid even after cancellation
2.3 No Prorated Refunds
We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access until the cycle ends, but no partial refund is issued.
3. Subscription Refund Policy
3.1 Eligibility
Subscription refunds may be granted under all these conditions:
✅ Request made within 7 days of the initial subscription purchase
✅ Minimal or no usage of premium features during that period (e.g., not more than 1-2 conversions, depending on tool)
✅ First-time subscriber only – refunds are not available for renewals
✅ Or, a verified technical issue prevented you from using the service
3.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be provided if:
❌ You have actively used the tool, downloaded converted files, or consumed significant credits
❌ More than 7 days have passed since your initial purchase
❌ The charge is a subscription renewal (not a first-time purchase)
❌ You simply changed your mind after purchasing
❌ You purchased the wrong plan without contacting us first – please contact us; we may help you switch plans instead
3.3 How to Request a Subscription Refund
Email [email protected] with the following:
- Account email used for purchase
- Tool name and plan purchased
- Date of purchase
- Transaction reference / receipt number
- Reason for the refund request
We respond within 48 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
4. One-Time Credit Packs
This applies to one-time purchases like the Starter Pack (10 Premium Credits) on Engraving Art Studio or any similar credit-based pack on other tools.
4.1 Refund Eligibility
Full refund available within 7 days of purchase if no credits have been consumed (a “use” means a successful final export / Stage 4 export / file download) Once any credit from the pack has been used, the entire pack becomes non-refundable Unused credits never expire – you can use them anytime
4.2 Service-Caused Credit Loss
If a technical failure on our side prevents you from completing a conversion you’ve already paid for, we will either:
Restore that credit to your account, or Refund that credit’s monetary value at our discretion
Contact us with your job ID and a description of the issue.
5. Digital Products (Templates, Design Packs)
This applies to downloadable digital products such as:
Laser cutting design templates DXF and SVG file packs Premium design bundles Any other downloadable resources
5.1 No Refunds After Delivery
Due to the nature of digital downloads, all sales are final once the file has been delivered or downloaded. We cannot verify whether a file has been copied, used, or saved after download.
5.2 No Cancellations After Purchase
Digital product purchases cannot be cancelled once:
The download link has been sent to your email You have accessed or downloaded the file The product has been delivered through any platform
5.3 Free Replacement / Exchange
We will provide a free replacement or exchange if:
✅ The file is corrupt or damaged and cannot be opened
✅ The file format is incorrect (different from what was advertised)
✅ The product is significantly different from its description
To request a replacement, email us with proof of the issue (screenshot, error message, file analysis).
6. Custom Design Orders
For personalized laser cutting designs, custom DXF files, or bespoke SVG creations:
6.1 Cancellation Window
You may cancel a custom order within 12 hours of placing it After 12 hours, design work may have started, and cancellation may not be possible To cancel, email [email protected] immediately

6.3 Revisions
Custom orders include a set number of revisions specified at the time of order. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
6.4 Satisfaction Process
If you’re not satisfied with your custom design:
- Contact us with specific feedback before requesting a refund
- We will work with you to revise the design
- Refunds are considered only after reasonable revision attempts
7. Free Tools & Free Previews
The free preview conversion (e.g., 1 lifetime conversion on Engraving Art Studio) has no monetary value and is not refundable
Free tools and the free tier do not involve payment, so cancellation and refund do not apply
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free features at any time
8. Udemy Course Refunds
Our “Laser Cutting Design Masterclass” on Udemy is subject to Udemy’s refund policy:
- 30-day refund window from the date of purchase
- Refunds are processed directly by Udemy
- We do not handle Udemy course refunds – please contact Udemy support

9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
9.1 Contact Us First
If you have any issue with a purchase, please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider (PayPal / Razorpay). We are committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly – usually within 48 hours.
9.2 Chargeback Consequences
If you file a chargeback without first contacting us:
Your account may be immediately suspended pending investigation We will provide the payment provider with full evidence of the transaction, delivery, and usage Fraudulent chargebacks (where service was clearly delivered and used) may result in: Permanent account termination Forfeiture of any remaining credits or subscriptions Reporting to fraud-prevention databases
9.3 Resolution Process

- We investigate and respond within 48 hours
- If a refund is warranted, we process it promptly via the original payment method
- We aim to resolve all disputes amicably without involving payment providers
10. Refund Processing Times
Once a refund is approved, the time to receive it depends on your payment method:

Note: RickyLaserArt initiates approved refunds promptly, but the actual time for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. We are not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.
10.1 GST & Taxes (India)
For Indian customers, applicable GST is collected at checkout by our payment partner. Approved refunds include the full amount paid, including GST where applicable, in accordance with the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10.2 Currency Conversion
If your original payment involved currency conversion, refunds are issued in the original transaction currency. Any difference due to exchange rate fluctuations between purchase and refund is not our responsibility.

12. Indian Consumer Protection
This policy is designed to comply with the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Indian customers retain all statutory rights provided under these laws, including the right to fair treatment, accurate disclosures, and grievance redressal.
For grievances that cannot be resolved informally, Indian consumers may approach the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in their jurisdiction.
